Thursday, December 196:00—8:00 PMCommunity RoomGladys E. Kelly Public Library2 Lake Street, Webster, MA, 01570

Students will learn the techniques Hollis has developed over the last 8 years in their personal fiber art practice to create a 3D portrait of an animal. These creatives will get to work with felting needles, wool rovings, embroidery hoops, and premade felt to learn the basics of building up a form and manipulating the fibers to resemble illustration techniques in a new unique medium. The final works will resemble soft sculpture portraits of animals!
